1. Overview
MasterMegaCube is a puzzle game intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.
2. Data We Collect
Solve times & records (stored locally on your device) · App settings (stored locally). We do NOT collect persistent identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, geolocation, or behavioral data for advertising purposes.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob — Non-Personalized)
We display advertisements via Google AdMob: (a) only NON-PERSONALIZED, contextual ads are shown; (b) ad content is capped at a PG maximum rating; (c) no advertising ID (IDFA/AAID) is collected or used for ad personalization; (d) no behavioral or interest-based advertising. Where consent is required by law (e.g. EEA/UK), it is handled through Google's certified consent flow.
4. Camera & Photos (optional, on-device only)
The optional 'Camera scan' and custom-background features may use your device camera or a photo you choose, ONLY to read sticker colors or set a background. These images are processed entirely ON YOUR DEVICE — they are never uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone. Camera access is requested in-context the first time you open the scan, and you can decline.
5. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your name, email, address, phone, location, contacts, microphone/audio, advertising ID, persistent device identifiers, or behavioral data. (If a future version adds optional accounts or email, this policy will be updated before that feature ships.)
6. Third-Party Services
Google AdMob (contextual, non-personalized advertising only — see section 3). We do NOT use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any behavioral analytics service. The App may include links to our community pages on third-party platforms (e.g. Discord, YouTube). Opening such a link takes you OUT of the App to that platform, which is governed by its own terms and privacy policy; we do not collect or share any data through these links.
7. EEA / UK / California Users (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)
No personally identifiable information is stored on our servers. All data (solve records, preferences) is stored exclusively on your device. You exercise your rights by clearing app storage or uninstalling the App. EEA/UK users are served non-personalized ads; where consent is required it is presented via Google's consent flow.
8. Children's Privacy
MasterMegaCube is intended for users aged 13 and older and is NOT directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us (see below) and we will delete it.
9. Data Retention & Security
All data is stored locally on your device in app-private storage (sandboxed by Android/iOS so it is not accessible to other apps) and is deleted when you uninstall the App. We retain no server-side data. All network communications use HTTPS (encrypted in transit).
10. Your Rights
You may clear all data by uninstalling the App or clearing app storage in your device settings.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes materially affect how we or our partners handle your data, the App will display the updated policy and request re-acceptance on next launch.
